Meet the Artist

Hi, I'm Madison!

I'm an artist, educator, and lifelong creative based in Chicago. Since 2019, I've worked as an elementary art teacher in Lemont, where I have the joy of helping young artists discover their creativity every day.

I grew up in Crystal Lake, Illinois, and earned my Bachelor's degree in Art Education from Southeast Missouri State University. I'm currently pursuing my Master's degree in Art and Design Education at Northern Illinois University, continuing my passion for both creating and teaching art.

Drawing has always been one of my favorite ways to connect with people. Creating cartoon portraits sparked my initial love of art as a child. During the pandemic in 2020, I turned that passion into a digital art commission business. Since then, I've had the joy of working with hundreds of clients to create custom illustrations, cartoon portraits, logos, and meaningful artwork that celebrates the people, pets, and memories they cherish most.

When I'm not teaching or creating commissions, you'll usually find me exploring a new creative hobby. I love working across a variety of mediums, including quilting, ceramics, stained glass, knitting, painting, printmaking, and digital art. For me, creativity is an essential part of my every day life.

My love for weddings is close to my heart. When my husband and I got married at a stained glass museum, the artistic details were some of the most meaningful parts of our day. From creating handmade pottery favors to making stained glass flower centerpieces and designing my own illustrated wedding invitations, those creative touches made our celebration feel especially personal. That experience inspired my passion for bringing art into weddings and creating meaningful keepsakes that guests can treasure long after the day is over.

Whether I'm illustrating live guest portraits at your wedding or creating a custom commission, my goal is always the same: to create artwork that feels personal, joyful, and uniquely you.
